You can switch from Kursregistrering.se to another provider or to your own infrastructure. This page describes how a switch works and how you retrieve your data. This information is provided under Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the EU Data Act). This page is the switching information that our Terms of Service refer to.
How a switch works
You can terminate the agreement with a notice period of no more than two (2) months.
When you request a switch, we assist you during a transition period of thirty (30) calendar days. During that period, the service continues to work as usual.
You have the right to extend the transition period once, by a period that you consider appropriate.
Sometimes a switch within thirty (30) calendar days is not technically feasible. In that case, we notify you within fourteen (14) working days. We state the reasons and an alternative transition period. The alternative period is never longer than seven (7) months.
After the agreement has ended, you can retrieve all your data for at least thirty (30) calendar days. The export is downloaded from Settings throughout that period.
No switching charges
We do not charge any fee for switching, export, or termination.
Export format
Owners and administrators can download all of the organization's data at any time. The feature is called Export organization data and is found under Settings. It works regardless of plan, and even after the subscription has ended. The export is a ZIP archive with JSON files and CSV files. The JSON files are the complete, lossless form. The CSV files are simplified tables for spreadsheet programs. The format is versioned and openly documented. A receiving system can therefore read the archive without our involvement.
Register of exportable data
The archive contains the organization's data in the following categories:
- organization profile with team members and certificate signatories
- courses with form templates, sessions, tracks, and price tiers
- course templates and course series
- registrations with complete form responses
- consent records
- attendance
- certificates
- evaluation responses
- assessment question bank and assessment results
- invoices and credit notes
- email log
ICT infrastructure and international access
The service runs on managed European cloud platforms. Application data is stored within the EU. However, individual subcontractors can process data outside the EU/EEA. The complete list of sub-processors is available in our Data Processing Agreement. It also states data categories, regions, and transfer mechanisms for each provider.
